So after 600+ plus minutes without scoring in the Premier League, Olivier Giroud has finally got one in the back of the net for Arsenal.

The Frenchman has come under a lot of criticism for not scoring enough recently, which has also highlighted the fact that the Gunners really do need to sign a world class striker before the transfer window closes in a couple of weeks.

But the striker scored an absolute beauty to ease those fears that the Gunners won’t get anywhere near the title without a proper goalscorer.

Mesut Ozil – the player Arsenal fans were fuming at for not being dropped by Wenger before the game – received the ball on the left, whipped a wonderful ball in to the area and Giroud executed a gorgeous bicycle kick in to the bottom right hand corner to give the Gunners a well deserved lead at Selhurst Park.

And the Arsenal fans absolutely loved it…
