THE BIGGER PICTURE

DID YOU KNOW?
Leverkusen have been Bundesliga runners-up on five occasions, the most recent of which was back in the 2010/11 season. The last time they lifted silverware was way back in 1993 when they won the DFB-Pokal trophy.

WHAT NEXT?
Leverkusen next face Koln on March 3 but Harry Kane's Bayern play twice before then; first at home to RB Leipzig on Saturday and then away to Freiburg on March 1. Thomas Tuchel's men will need to win both to stand any chance of retaining their title.
